Lisa Blasser is the founder of the Law School Success Institute, a national law school preparation company, and the author of Nine Steps to Law School Success: A Scientifically Proven Process for Success in Law School.

As a veteran personal injury attorney and co-founder of her Los Angeles based law firm, Blasser Law, Lisa brings two decades of courtroom and academic experience—including twenty years as a civil litigator and fifteen years as a law professor and Director of Academic Success and Bar Preparation at an ABA-accredited law school.

She serves on the executive board of several pipeline-to-practice nonprofits and delivers monthly pro bono workshops devoted to leveling the playing field for low-income, first-generation, and minority law students.

Lisa’s groundbreaking qualitative research on high-performing law students inspired her to create The Law School Operating System, a recorded and live course that embraces diverse thinking styles and provides an adaptable, step-by-step approach for organizing, learning, and writing topics on exams.

At her core, Lisa believes every law student can achieve their academic goals, regardless of their background and entering credentials—and she is on a fierce mission to prove it.

Today, Lisa shares actionable strategies from her system, offering a bird’s-eye view of the skills that drive law student success.
