Shawntal Mallory

Shawntal Mallory is a native of Omaha, Nebraska, and was educated at Creighton University (BA’97) and Creighton University School of Law (JD’00). A licensed attorney since 2006, Shawntal specializes in juvenile, family and employment law, she serves as Executive Director of the Nebraska Legal Diversity Council (NLDC), a nonprofit organization aiming to increase and support diversity in the practice of law in Nebraska. Shawntal also serves as Adjunct Professor at Creighton Law & Special Consulting Professor for the Juvenile Justice Legal Clinic (JJLC). A published and featured speaker, trainer, coach and consultant, Shawntal is certified in Nonprofit Executive Leadership and Leading Equity & Inclusion in Organizations through Northwestern University. Her consulting practice, The Esquire Group, is highly sought-after for legal, leadership, and inclusion matters. She is an active community volunteer and Board member, member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and attends Salem Baptist Church. Shawntal has been awarded numerous accolades for her leadership and community impact. Her favorite role is mom to her two sons.
