Morgan McMillen is a rising third-year law student at the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law, where she is pursuing her Juris Doctor. As a Louisville native, she has loved being close to home and all of the experiences Brandeis has brought me.
Throughout law school, she has focused on building a strong foundation in civil litigation. Her experience includes a focus in medical malpractice on both the plaintiff and defense side. She has particularly valued opportunities to engage with complex legal issues and contribute to the development of case strategy. She has an interest in family and immigration law. She recently completed the Immigration Clinic through Brandeis’ law clinic.
Outside of law school, she enjoys attending concerts, reading, and traveling, and appreciates the opportunity to explore new places and perspectives. Morgan values spending time with friends and family and maintaining a strong sense of balance alongside her academic and professional commitments. She is excited to connect with and learn from others in the legal community through opportunities like this.
Morgan believes the Ms. JD Fellowship is an invaluable opportunity to connect with law students and attorneys across the United States. Throughout life, Morgan has had amazing women role models to look up to and this is another great experience to learn from women in the legal profession!
