I am a law student and aspiring public interest attorney dedicated to serving underrepresented communities and promoting access to justice. I have gained hands-on experience at the Federal Public Defender’s Office in Mobile, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Mississippi, and North Mississippi Rural Legal Services. This summer, I am interning with the Nashville Defenders, and I hold my Tennessee student practice license. In Fall 2025, I will also join the MacArthur Justice Clinic, where I will advocate for human rights and social justice through litigation, focusing on issues like police misconduct, unlawful bail and fine practices, conditions of confinement, and juvenile justice. I’ll participate in all aspects of the clinic’s work, including case selection, witness interviews, research, discovery, and trial assistance.
As a first-generation student and the oldest sibling in my family, I have learned the value of resilience, hard work, and public service. Inspired by my mother’s sacrifices and my late grandmother’s strength, I am committed to fairness and equity. My education and practical experiences have prepared me for a career dedicated to justice and community empowerment.
